Centering Prayer Workshop Sign Up

September 20 & 21, 2024. September 20th: 6pm-8pm; Sepember 21st 9am-12pm | Centering Prayer is based on the wisdom saying of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: “When you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you” (Matthew 6:6).

Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, in which we experience God’s presence within us. Do you seek to rest your mind and heart in the loving presence of God? How would it be to simply sit in silence enjoying each others company?

Join us in this program of contemplative practice, study and support as we Learn & Pray the Centering Prayer Way.
We are excited to have you learn & pray the Centering Prayer Way

During this introductory Centering Prayer Workshop we will be learning what prayer is, how prayer is a form of relationship, and the methodology of Centering Prayer.

There is a $10 fee for the workshop, please bring cash or make checks payable to Hope Center. However, we believe in making this opportunity accessible to everyone. If the cost is a barrier, please let us know, and we will ensure you can attend regardless of your ability to pay.
